About using a stock photo for her face, i slowly grew a theory. Javik said that quarians were good lookingalready in his cycle (and if Javik says something gentle, shit just got real), and the graphics of character faces are ok, but nothing special. Maybe they used a stock photo to represent how Tali is much fairer than other mass effect chicks. A sort of reward for those brave enough to romance a girl without being able to see her face til the very last.
